Hey everyone

Hope you are well - we're all peachy except for Een... More about that over there -> in photo of the month.

The year is really starting to take off for Suade, we're booked in for a number of festivals, from Yackandandah to Brisbane - more about those as timetables are confirmed - and we're expanding our 2010 touring effort to hopefully include Singapore, Korea, Japan, Taiwan and China. We've also just signed a distribution/promotion deal in Korea which should help us take off in that region.

What's more, we've started recording new tracks for another CD - and believe me, this next record is going to be a huge leap forward into a much fuller sound that you'll hardly believe is all vocal... Really exciting stuff. It's gonna take a long time to get it finished, especially with all the other work we're doing, but the results are going to be NINJA!

March 14 is Momma Blain's birthday - and it's also our first full Suade show of the year. That means 2 full sets of goodness in our first visit to SpensersLive - which by all accounts is a beaut venue. We're working on some new tunes for the day, including a fresh Lozzo original with two (count 'em, TWO!) naughty words in it.

Get Vocal Festival, May 6-9

Things are heating up with Vocal Australia's Get Vocal festival - the Colonel has been working his tushie off on this one. He's confirmed some sensational groups for concerts and workshops, including Tripod, Mal Webb, Blue Notion, ManChoir and a whole bunch of others.

There's also a professional development day for anyone who's working with singers or looking to get an a cappella group happening - and every night will be a social and networking event with lots of singing, drankin' and partyin'. We can't wait!

Tickets for this 3-day singing extravaganza are now on sale - Suade is performing at a couple of the concerts, so don't miss those, but the workshops and PD sessions should be fascinating too. Jump onto the Get Vocal festival website for more info.
